We beam bits. Whole.

bitsbeam is a small crew building open-source infrastructure for Ruby teams — tools that move data from where it is to where it needs to be, without dropping any on the way.

What we do

Every product eventually has to move work and events around: run this later, tell that service, replay what happened yesterday. Most teams solve it by bending a database or a cache into a message broker, and then spend years patching the edges.

We build the other way around. Our tools start from messaging — durable, replayable, horizontally scalable — and give Ruby developers a clean, familiar API on top of it.

How we work

AI first. In the age of AI code is cheap. Experience is not. That's why everything is open, and will always be. Need paid support? Contact. We'll help.

Open source by default. Our tools are MIT licensed and developed in the open on GitHub. You can read every line that touches your data.

Production first. We ship what we run ourselves, and we only call something done once it has survived real traffic.

Small surface, sharp tools. One gem, one config, one CLI. Fewer moving parts means fewer places for a bit to fall through.

The fleet

Cosmonats is the first craft we've launched: background jobs and real-time event streaming for Ruby in one gem, backed by NATS. More are on the launch pad.
